Food Production Assistant-Yearly Average Salary Range: $15,380-$28,280
This program emphasizes technical and theoretical knowledge combined with the practical application of basic food preparation and service techniques, sanitation, equipment use, and safety. Training in this program is intended for students who wish to pursue careers in the culinary arts or food service industries. Study in this concentration leads to completion of the Culinary Arts Career Pathway on the high school level and the Food Production Assistant certificate on the technical college level. Further training may be available to the student through Savannah Technical College's Culinary Institute.
